Fertilizer application rate for edible canna (Canna endulis Ker.) production

Four rates of the 15-15-15 fertilizer (25, 50, 75 and 100 kg per rai) were evaluated for edible canna production at National Corn and Sorghum Research Center which was a clay soil with pH 6.8, organic matter 2.32 percent, total N 0.14 percent and P, K, Mg, Ca, Na and Fe 71.25, 200.0, 150.0, 1240.0, 71.25 and 26.65 ppm, respectively. The result suggested that an appropriate rate of the 15-15-15 fertilizer for edible canna production in this soil was 75 kg per rai.
