This investigation was carried out to determine the hazelnut hulls added to the rations of merino male lambs on the effect of some blood and rumen metabolites. Totally 30 weaned merino male lambs aged 1.5-2.0 months were used. There was a control and two treatment groups, each containing 10 lambs. The experimental period covered 3 weeks of preliminary period and three basal feeding period each containing of a month. It is concluded that the addition of 10 % and 20 % hazelnut hulls to the concentrate feeds had no effect on pH, total Volatile Fatty Acid (VFA) of rumen fluid; total protein, calcium, inorganic phosphorus of blood serum, but it had a statistically significant effect (p0.01) on total cholesterol and total lipid of blood serum
