Purposes of this study were to study and to explore the application resulted from the training in their occupation, and the examine the association between size of land holding, irrigation and membership of agricultural organization and the application of learned knowledge, and to investigate the opinion towards the training, difficulties and recommendations. The sample was 180 trainess enrolled in the agricultural short-course training program in the fiscal year 1993 as carried out by the Suphanburi Agricultural College. The data were collected by means of interview and analyzed by employing percentage, arithmatic mean, standard deviation, chi-square and Yule's Q test at the .05 level of significance. The results indicated that most of the attendants had gained knowledge from te training at the high level of understanding and applied the knowledge to their occupation at the relatively high level. The result also indicated that sized of land holding, irrigation, and membership of agricultural organization were significantly associated with the application of learned knowledge to their occupation. The suggestions concluded from this research were that the curriculum and contents of such training should stress on practical domain enable skills; more equipments and tools should be required available.
