Total retail sale volume of trade of sugar, coffee, cocoa and candy confectionery produce, on the territory of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, in the period 1965-1995, has been developing on a very dynamic and an unstable way. The trend of sale shaped two and a half sale cycles, with seven positive and six negative spot positions. At the end of observed period, a milk tendency of stabilization is pronounced. In the total volume of trade of the analyzed commodities, sugar is participating with over 80%, candy goods around 11%, coffee with over 8%, and of the cocoa with around 0.4%. Volume, dynamics and structure of total sale volume of that group of products, is determined first of all, by the domestic production of sugar in Yugoslavia, import of coffe and of cocoa. The formation of trends of sale of these products significantly were influenced by the disturbances in the economic system and by the functioning of the so called "black market".
