Determination of the output of an electrostatic separator for light vegetable seeds

The paper puts forward a technique for determination of the output of a vibratory electrostatic separator for each separate fraction and as a whole. The condition under which is applied the developed technique is the preliminary set-up of the grading separetor according to a law near to the normal one (Gauss probability distribution). The conducted processing of the experimental results from the separation of musk-melon seeds, the obtained mathematical models and correlation coefficients determine the way on which the neighbouring fractions should be united, or some of them should be returned for re-processing. It can be noted as a conclusion that the suggested approach for determination of the separator output has a versatile character in grading loose mixtures of an arbitrary number of fractions.
