Depending on the increasing Probability (P) of high degree of surface waterlogging the studied soils are devised into three groups. P increases in the range: 3th 2nd 1st group. The minimums of the depth functions of the total content of manganese (Mnt) and of the content of its oxalate extractable form (Mno), corresponding to the soil solum, show the zones of grey processes. A part of the reduced Mn is accumulated in the upper part of the profiles. These minimums and accumulations are best expressed in the soils from the 1st group, followed by these from 2nd and 1st groups, i.e. they are more clear at higher P. The depth functions of Mn1 and Mno are indicative to the degree of waterlogging, as a difference from iron oxalate extractable form Feo. The degree of waterlogging is related to the amounts of concretions.
