We studied the effect of 00 rapeseed meal on milk production and composition. The addition of rapeseed meal (1.5 or 3 kg) to the feed ration increased the milk yield in comparison with a feed ration containing 20 % of soybean meal. Neither the milk quality nor the quantity of consumed feed was altered. The digestibility (in dry matter) of rapeseed meal dry matter was 84.5 %, N compounds 86.3 %, lipids 93.7 % and fibres 63.1 %. Feed rations containing rapeseed meal must be completed with Ca, Mg, Mn, Zn, Se, Mo and I.
