[Possibilities of reducing energy demand for agriculture]

The direct energy consumption within Czech agricultural production and energy needs in different production periods are analyzed in this monography. Special attention is paid to the methods how to save energy. Details are also given on operations with high energy requirements such as soil cultivation and harvest and on energy consumption in animal production (heating, ventilation and illumination of stables). Special chapters deal with transport operations.
