The trial variety comparison was established in 1996 at EAU trial garden and meristem plants were used. The trial included the following varieties: 'Senga Sengana (control), 'Bounty', 'Honeoye', 'Jonsok', Nr.2179 'Bogota', 'Korona', 'Lina', 'Venta', ' Elsanta', 'Marmolada', 'Hella', 'Senga Dulcita', and 'Hiku'. Trial results received over several years show the behaviour and suitability of different varieties for a production-oriented plantation. As the result of comparison of different varieties we can say that the most productive variety providing a stable yield for sale is 'Bounty'. Regardless of different conditions and different years, variety 'Bounty' gives the highest revenue level per plant. In Estonian conditions, 'Senga Sengana', 'Senga Dulcita' and 'Lina' can also be used for production
