Comparison of the copper, zinc and manganese contents of soils after KCI-EDTA, Lakanen-Erviö and concentrated acid digestion on the basis of analyses carried out as part of the Soil Conservation Information and Monitoring System
2000
Molnáros,I. | Gráczol,C.
The basic aim of the experiments was to interpret the results of copper, zinc and manganese analyses carried out in Hungary since 1978 using KCI-EDTA extractant in the light of the Lakanen-Erviö extraction results obtained internationally.Soil properties -pH, CaCO3%, humus, plasticity- have a considerable influence on the microelement contents of the soils and the quantity of elements which can be extracted with various extractants.Although the 289 samples taken in five counties (Gyïr-Moson-Sopron, Somogy, Vas, Veszprém, Zala) are not sufficient in themselves for the calibration of the extractants, the trends observed will be of assistance in this calibration.Further information is provided by the KCI-EDTA analysis and evaluation of 11,259 samples from Vas County.
