This experiment was conducted to develop linear regression equation between total leaf area of corn at flowering and individual leaf character, leaf length and/or leaf width, which can be used to estimate the total leaf area using individual leaf character, and to detect the ability of two models of linear regression equation, with and without intercept, for estimating the total leaf area. High variation of data was collected from field experiment using nitrogen rate as treatment, consisted of 0, 150, 300, and 450 kg Urea/ha. These treatments were arranged in randomized complete block design with four replications. Results of the experiment showed that the estimated regression equation model Y = bethaX + phi had greater ability in estimating the total leaf area of corn at flowering than model Y = alpha + bethaX + phi. The total leaf area (Y) of corn at flowering can be estimated by the cross product of leaf length and leaf width (X5), with an estimated regression equation Y=5.8703 X5, Y=5.4747 X5, and Y=5.3741 X5 for the fifth leaf, sixth leaf and seventh leaf, respectively
