The response of grapes to graded doses of potassium fertilizer (0, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 g per vine) in relation to fruit yield, quality and petiole-nutrient status was studied. The bunch number and fruit yield increased with the increase of K doses up to 200 g. Bunch and berry weight increased with each level of K applied. TSS, reducing sugars and acid-content also increased with the enhancement of K levels. The organoleptic rating was recorded better under K treatments which showed higher level of soluble solids. Foliar-K level increased significantly under all the K doses. The level of petiole-N, P, Zn, Mn and Fe increased up to 400 g but thereafter depressing effect was noted.
