Muthumanickam, D. | Balkrishnamurthy, G. (Horticultural Research Station, Yercaud (India)).
Field experiments were conducted in softseeded pomegranate trees grown in acid soils to improve the yield and quality through the application of soil amendments. The results showed that application of dolamite in two splits in a year significantly increased the number of fruits and fruit weight besides enhancing the TSS, reducing sugar, non-reducing sugar, acidity and ascorbic acid content in juice.
