The situation and problems of food supply-demand in inland China: A case study of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region

In China, there are problems relating to food disequilibrium in some regions which are influenced by the widening of income distribution between inland and coastal regions. This paper explains the present situation and the problems of food deficits. These problems are only domestic. The focus of thus research is mainly in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, as it is a less developed part of China. Food production, circulation and consumption are analyzed and compared with other regions through trade in each step of the economy with the economic system reform policy
