Sowing time and application rate of nitorogenous fertilizer on cosmos, rape and chrysanthemum for making scenic beauty in flooded paddy field

The experiment was carried out to establish sowing time and application rate of nitrogenous fertilizer on cosmos, rape and chrysanthemum for making scenic beauty in flooded paddy field from 1991 through 1993. The results were as follows: 1) It is possible to make scenic beauty from July to August as sowing cosmos in April and May, and so on from September to December in July, from October to November in August. I presumed that application of 0.5 kg/a of nitrogenous fertilizer was enough for cultivating cosmos in August, but 0.7-0.8 kg/a was necessary for cultivating it form April to July. 2) It is possible to make scenic beauty from January to March as sowing rape in September, and so on from March to April in November. I presumed that application 1.0 kg/a of nitrogenous fertilizer was enough for cultivating rape in November, but 1.3-1.5 kg/a was necessary for cultivating it from September to October. 3) It is possible to make scenic beauty from September to October as sowing chrysanthemum in July, and so on April to May in September, from May to June in November. I was presumed that application 1.0 kg/a of nitrogenous fertilizer was enough for cultivating chrysanthemum from September to November, but 1.5 kg/a was necessary for cultivating in it July. 4) From these results, it was established the year-round cultivation system of cosmos, rape and chrysanthemum for making year-round scenic beauty in flooded paddy field in Osaka prefecture
