By scientifically defining the effect of the keeping temperature on the cold seedling bed in the relation between the outside temperature and sunshining rate, the temperature of cold seedling bed could theoritically regulated in accordance with the climatic condition of each period. The character of the keeping temperature in the cold seedling bed showed the typical continental climate in the amplitude of a day temperature in winter, and in difference and active time of night temperatures. Accordingly, cold seedling bed became the effective mean of changing temperature in the sprouting of seeds and the growth of young plants
