[Botanical feed additive - for the increase of broilers' productivity]

A natural biologically active dry powder - feed enriching botanical additive - has been developed from local natural products. Botanical additives contain drugs (Folia et herba Urtical, Cortex Quercus, Flores Calendulae) and needles (Folia Pini) processing products (chlorophyll carotene paste and provitamin concentrate). Inclusion of 1% additive in broilers ration increased the productivity index by 17,2% in comparison with the control group, improved meat quality by increasing dry matter by 2.05%, total protein by 3.25% and biogenic elements Cu, Zn, Mn. Fe content by 0.05 to 2.87 mg/kg, but the total amount of fat decreased by 2.25% at the same time. The botanical feed additive can be included into the composition of premixes for increasing the productivity and meat quality of broilers.
