Effectiveness of phosphorus and potassium in pastures depending on their content in soil

The influence of NPK fertilizers on pasture productivity and chemical composition of the plants in soils with different PK sufficiency level was studied in Skriveri Research Centre. The obtained results were expressed as multi-factorial equation of regression. The PK fertilisation effect was lower when the content of these elements in soil was higher. It gives the possibility for fertilisation adjustment based on soil properties. The PK content in plants was mainly influenced by the fertilizers used and not by their content in the soil.
