Eight promising peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) genotypes were investigated for pod yield and other seven characters associated with it under four different environments. Stability differences were analyzed by linear regression of genotypes on environmental index and deviation from linear function along with their mean performance. There was significant genotype environment interaction for many traits in both linear and non-linear components. The genotype Cina was most stable for sound mature kernel percent (SMK%) and kernel pod-1 while ICGS-18 was stable for pod yield and kernel pod-1. The genotypes lCGS-83 and lCGS-7326 were stable only for haulm yield and shelling percentage, respectively. The stable genotypes could be used in breeding program to obtain high yield and improve other peanut varieties. However, genotypes ICGS-7326 and Cina produced maximum pod yield under Qaldara and Khanpur Environments; whereas genotypes Cina and Bari-89 performed well in Cheena area and genotypes Cina and ICGS-86549 gave high pod yield under Mingora climatic conditions.
