The selective solid waste collection system, functioning in the rural commune of Komorniki (Poland), was examined. Parameters characterizing collection dynamics (number of households, recycled waste mass, quarterly mass index) were analyzed. Their change in time was the main focus of the analysis. Household format in the view of number of segregated wastes' groups was determined. It has been found out that the linear function is the right approximative of the growth trend of the each collection parameter. Estimated trend models combined with seasonal changes were good representation of collection run which was indicated by high values of determination index. 3 years have passed since the system of waste collection "at source" was introduced. So far, 1/3 of the commune households have been participating in the system, yet only 11 percent out of those have done the full scope of waste segregation
