This report contains the preliminary results of a collaborative research work between ICARDA, ILRI, Burkina Faso, Jordan, Niger, Senegal, Syria, and Tunisia. The objectives are to stop land degradation and restore rangelands by production of multi-purpose fodder shrubs and trees, enhance the collaboration between agropastoralists and scientists, and to assist scientists in gaining a better understanding of the urgent needs and expectations of agropastoral communities living in these marginal areas
