Isolation of agriculture as a part of the food vertical chain

Agri-food industry in the Slovak Republic, is not showing positive results yet, even in the recent days. Its competitiveness toward developed countries is still falling. One of the factor having a big share in this situation, is the fact that the recent transformation has been unable to overcome the isolation of the agriculture from the processing industry, from wholesalers and financers. In this study material, we have tried to propose different steps that could help throwing such an isolation. The proposed measures covers the item of price formation in the whole food vertical chain as well as the item of the firm structure change in the food industry
