[Regeneration of stand soil compacted by passes of forest machines]

Based on the technical indicators as the change of soil volume weight, change of penetration resistance and the Dolgov - Zitkov indicator of water soil permeability, the rapidity of natural regeneration of spring moist skeletal-loamy soils compacted by 20 passes of skidder LKT 81 or LKT 40 was experimentally found out. During 5 years, almost total regeneration of soil has been completed in 0 - 10 cm depth while only insignificant changes have been recognized in 21 - 30 cm depth. Regeneration in 11 - 20 cm depth is at the level of 56-80%, according to the changes of volume weight. The soil permeability has increased by 1 degree
