Efficacy test of neem extracts in various formulations from K.U. pilot-plant on the beet armyworm (Spodoptera exigua) in the asparagus field at Rajaburi Province was conducted by spray neem extracts in comparison with the synthetic insecticide "Lorsban" in every 5 days for 5 times at and the S. exigua - larvae were counted before and after spray. The experimental design is RCB replicated 3 times with 8 treatments. The plot size is 6*5 square m. From statistical analysis of the last count, the plot treated with neem extracts in 6 formulations, except neem fruit extract at 100 cc/20 litres of water, showed the small amount of larval population as the same as those treated with "Lorsban". However, all treatments had better control than untreated control with statistical difference.
