Experiments were conducted at Sriracha Research Station in Chon Buri during 1988-1990. There were two experiments; dry season planting (November) and rainy season planting (June). Three cassava varieties were used namely ; Rayong 1, Rayong 60 and Sriracha 1. The objective was to assess the relative response of three cassava varieties to mixed fertilizer grade 15-15-15 at the rates of 0, 50, 100, and 150 kg/rai. A 3*4 factorial experiment in RCB with 4 replications was used. There was no significant difference in fresh root yield only in the dry season planting. Rayong 60 tended to have the highest fresh root yield while Sriracha 1 gave higher the starch content. Furthermore, Sriracha 1, generally gave higher fresh root yield than those of other varieties under unfertilized soil. In the dry season planting, average yield increased by fertilizer at the rates of 50,100 and 150 kg/rai were 7, 15 and 21 percent and were 10, 35 and 42 percent for the rainy season planting, respectively. The highest response of cassava to rates of mixed fertilizer was obtained at 100 kg/ rai. In addition, interactions between variety and fertilizer rate of fresh and dry root yield as well as the starch content were not observed.
