[Ecological and economic effectiveness of soil conservation system of [Ukraine's] agriculture]

Results are provided of the complex ecological and economic, as well as social assessment of advantages of the long-term functioning of soil conservation agriculture while reforming the agrarian economy. Materials are used of an agricultural enterprise, the "Obriy" (Horizon) JSC (Shyshatsky district, Poltava oblast). Ecological agriculture in this company is based on the maximum use of the soil and climatic conditions as well as of plant potential, advantages of plants' placement in crop rotations following the best preceding crops, provision of the optimal conditions of plants' growth and development, application of organic fertilizers on account of using non-commercial part of yield, agrotechnical methods of weed control etc. The company's experience can be used almost without amendments at the farms of the Left-Bank Forest-Steppe of Ukraine and after some amendments in other regions
