[Strategy of reanimation of Ukraine's viticulture]

The up-to-day condition and ways of reviving the viticulture and wine-making under conditions of market economy are analysed. The issues of the efficiency of the soil management for vineyards, saving of the unique vine zones of the Crimean Southern Coast, production technologies for propagation material are studied. The selection of the varieties presupposes the complex pest and disease resistance. Resistant varieties should occupy 25-30 % of the vineyards in the zones of mass production of the ordinary wines, juices and cognac alcohols. The plantations with the low crop yield should be provided with high-yield varieties. This allows to obtain new crop yield on the old strong roots next year. The French experience in soil treatment is to be taken into account in the study. Certified propagation material is to be used for setting up new vineyards
