Parasitic helminthes on goat in Binh Duong province

By autopsy method of 60 goats in Binh Duong province, the prevalence of parasitic helminthes was 91.66 percent. The highest infestation was Nematode (91.66 percent) and then was Cetode and Trematode (26.66 percent). Most of the goats infested 3 - 4 helminth species. 12 species of helminthes were found in which 5 species belong to Nematode, 2 species -Cestode and 5 species - Trematode. Haemonchus contortus and Oesophngostomum spp heavily infested in all age groups of goats. The infection rate of Haemonch us contortus increased following to the age categories but Oesophagostomum and Moniezia were vice versa.
