The usage of the water for irrigation depending on physical-chemical and microbiological characteristics
2001
Kascelan, S.
Analyses included the determination of physical and chemical characteristics of the surface water, of the soil that was treated by this water and the ground water. The analyses included as well qualitative and quantitative determination of the certain groups of microorganisms of the same sample. The samples are taken from three localities in three different periods of irrigation. The results of the analyses show that water taken from the locality Irmovo (Serbia, Yugoslavia) can be used for irrigation without negative consequences. The usage of the water, taken from the localities Becej and Titel (Serbia, Yugoslavia) according to the analyses, is limited. The results of the micro flora analyses of the water points out to good quality according to sanitary aspect, while the small number of myxobacterium show us thet there are no polluters from agriculture. It has been determined negative correlation between DHA and bicarbonate in the soil. Different types of microorganisms reacted differently on the presence of heavy metals in the soil. The lowest sensitivity was shown by mushrooms and actinomycetes.
