On the basis of results from formal tests of wheeled farm tractors were determined relationships between the fuel-saving capacities of a tractor diesel engine, a farm tractors and a tractor/implement combination. The possibilities for calculation of the required average quantity of fuel per hour of operation of a farm tractor in combination with an implement were analyzed, utilizing data on the specific fuel consumption of one of the three evaluated items.
