[Evaluation of growth and development of five genotipes of cubio Tropaeolum tuberosum Ruiz y pavón] | Evaluación del crecimiento y desarrollo de cinco genotipos de cubio Tropaeolum tuberosum Ruiz y pavón

إنجليزي. Five genotypes of cubio (Tropaeolum tuberosum) was evaluated in high mountain conditions (3100m.o.s.l.), between March and September 1999. Each genotype has sowed in a plot with 50m2 (1 between columns and 0.5m between plants). The samples was harvested each 15 days, the first one was 27 days after sowing (das). Each plant was processing estimating the next variables leaf area, dry weight of each part of each plant and total dry weight, with a reference in this measurements as estimate the relative grow rate (RGR), leaf weight ratio (LWR), specific leaf area (SLA), leaf area ratio (LAR), net assimilation rate (NAR), leaf area index (LAI), and crop growth rate (CGR). The analysis was making using a functional approach and fitting that to a polynomial regression using this variables, also was used the X2 prove for means comparing the foretold whit the answer in the regressions. The behavior of the biological index and the growth index was similar in all genotypes but with variation on time between them.

الأسبانية؛ قشتالية. Cinco genotipos de cubio (Tropaeolum tuberosum) fueron evaluados bajo condiciones de páramo (3100 m.s.n.m.) entre los meses de marzo y septiembre de 1999. Cada uno se sembró en una parcela de 50 m2 (1 m entre surcos y 0.5 m entre plantas), iniciándose las evaluaciones de crecimiento y desarrollo a los 27 días después de la siembra y realizando muestreos con frecuencia de dos semanas. Se cuantificó el área foliar, el peso seco de cada uno de sus órganos y el peso seco total. Con base en estas medidas se halló la tasa relativa de crecimiento (TRC), razón de peso foliar (RPF), área foliar especifica (AFE), razón de área foliar(RAF), tasa de asimilación neta (TAN), índice de área foliar (IAF) y tasa de crecimiento de cultivo (TCC). Se realizó un análisis funcional de crecimiento ajustando regresiones polinómicas a las variables evaluadas y se realizó una prueba de X2 entre el valor del peso seco total pronosticado mediante regresión y el peso seco total observado. Los resultados obtenidos muestran un comportamiento similar en las variables biológicas y los índices de crecimiento en todos los genotipos, mostrando variaciones en magnitud y en el tiempo en que alcanzaron su máximo valor.
