The situation of our pear export and production, and its problems

We can sell the table pear for export compared to the apple on double price, the same is true also for the industrial pear. But there is a limit for our pear export and it's reasons are the lack of modern plantations, and varieties, the low average yield, weaknesses of market organizations, unproblemshed of storage, etcetera. Foreign experiences show that intensive plantations of pears can be established just as well as of apples. The problems of irrigation should be managed, or interstem propagating material can be used. In this way the costs of irrigation could be saved. Organizing the collaboration of growers is also an important task, since this is the only way trhough which our producers can be supported.
