A 5x5 factorial experiment in RCBD with three replicates was conducted to determine the effect of different soil media and fertilizer levels on the regenerative capacity, growth performance and biomass yield of vetiver grass in the nursery. The study also aimed to mass produce vetiver planting stocks. In Bukidnon, road project implementors used vetiver to stabilize sloping areas near roadsides. Findings showed that tiller production of vetiver grass was significantly influenced by fertilization and its interaction with different mixtures of soil media 120 days after potting (DAP). Unfertilized vetiver grass grown in a mixture of soil media produced significantly higher number of tillers. Use of 40% topsoil (TS) + 50% ricehull (RH) + 10% ricehull ashes (RHA) and 20% TS + 70% RH + 10% RHA had the highest number of tillers, 12.78 and 31.11 per pot, respectively, as compared with other treatment combinations. The different mixtures of soil media significantly affected the length of shoots and leaf blades, and the shoot, root and total biomass of the grasses. The different mixtures of soil media also significantly affected the root to shoot ratio of the potted grasses 120 DAP. Vetiver grass grown in 40% + 5 + 50% RH + 10% RHA obtained the significantly highest shoot to root ratio. The control (100% TS) had the least
