The TABARGA Multipurpose Cooperative, Dingle Agricultural and Technical Colleges, San Enrique Polytechnic College and Northern Iloilo Polytechnic State College (Barotac Viejo campus) were chosen as potential partners, collaborators and implementors of the plantation establishment. Mo¤oso Philippines Industries was responsible for processing of bamboo into tiles and plyboo. Two hectares were alloted per species except for bamboo with 3 has with the following number of seedlings: narra (1,500), yemane (10,000), mahogany (5,000), rattan (2,875) and bamboo (612). Techno-series or how-to books on production of each species were also published. A technology forum was conducted in December 1998 in Iloilo City [Philippines], attended by representatives from IFMA, farmers associations, academic institutions, LGUs, other government institutions and financing and banking institutions
