Twenty grazing-lactating dairy cows in early lactation were used to evaluate the supplementary effect of RFH (rice forage hay) at level of 20% of estimated dry matter intake on milk production and dry matter intake during the wet season. Result showed that supplementation of RFH at 20% of the estimated dry matter intake to grazing-lactating cows did not produce any significant changes in total milk production, peak milk production in terms of actual and fat-corrected milk yield. This may be due to the concentrate ration and sufficient dry matter available in the pasture (17.39 to 24.51% DM) that could satisfy the requirements of grazing lactating cows. The intake of RFH supplementation of 0.45 kg/head/day was not enough to significantly change cow performance. Likewise, no significant effect of RFH supplementation in milk fat content and occurence of post-partum was detected
