Milk candies can be made from curd instead of evaporating the milk. The recipe consists of 100gm pre-cooked curd with 20% brown sugar (partly caramelized before adding the curd), then add desired flavoring which may be cocoa powder, coffee or few drops of flavor essences like, lemon, vanilla and strawberry. Coarsely ground peanuts could also be used to coat the candy bars
