In the framework of Slovak market order for milk and market regulation principles for milk and milk products we already use the most institutes of EU market regime. In spite of this it will be necessary several changes to be realised in the pre-accession period. In the first place the target price of crude cow milk and intervention prices for butter and dry milk should start to be applied. In this connection it is necessary to establish the intervention mechanism covering the system of intervention purchases and private storing
