The Hanoi suburbs that has an agricultural land area of about 42,000 ha, plays an important role in producing and supplying food and food-staffs for 2.7 million inhabitants living in the region. Among food crops, rice is regarded as first important one. It is grown in various ecological zones with different cropping patterns and sowing seasons. Over the past ten years, although rice yield was increased continuously due to use of new varieties and intensive farming techniques, it is not stable because of weather and climate changes. Results of the study showed that, in Hanoi, spring rice faced difficulties of weather conditions such as low temperature and drought at sowing and germinating stage, hot-dry West wind at silking and pollinating stage, big precipitation at harvesting stage and so on. However, in various ecological zones the response of rice to estimate changes is different. The computation results of yield partition affected by weather factors (based on FAO'S software) pointed out those yields trend index was minus in years: 1991, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1998
