The present study is a thinking through bibliographical review and on the current situation of sheep breeding in Oueme and Plateau of Benin. This study situates the crossbreeding of Djallonke with Sahelian sheep and prospects some strategies that could be adopted in the context of sheep breeding in Oueme and Plateau of Benin.
