The perpose of the present research was to perform a compqarative biochemical evaluation of stocking material from carp, bighead carp and grass carp by tracing out common serum protein and protein profile before and after the winter period in ponds and to determine the physiological state and specific character of species. A seasonality in the dynamics of common serum protein in carp, bighead carp and grass carp was found out. When exchaning different protein fractions during the winter period specificity of species was proved, the latter being at the expense of albumen, globulines for grass carpat the expense of alfa and beta globulines for bighead carp and at the expense of alfa globulines for carp. Grass carp is characterized with more intensive accumulation of proteins during rearing period and with their more intensive depletion during the winter period regarding albumen and globulines.
