The effect of single and mixed inoculation of bean, Cher Starozagorski cultivar, with Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar phaseoli 51 and Azospirillum brasilense 107 was studied in field experiment on calcareous chernozem (Trustenik, Pleven district). An increase of yield and protein content was established due to bean inoculation, both single and mixed. The use of a sticker increases the effictivity of inoculation. The greatest effect on yield (18.5% average for the three years of the experiment) was observed in case of mixed inoculation with sticker. The inoculation (single and mixed) increases the amount of the studied rhizosphere microorganisms, connected with plant nutrition - better expressed in case of mixed inoculation.
