Perspectives and expectations in weed control

In future site specific weed control will help to implement the economic threshold concept which could be further developed into economic-ecological thresholds. The introduction of herbicide resistant crops are likely to promote the concept of period thresholds. These concepts will be linked to the use of GPS and sensor driven control systems and contribute to integrated weed management and precision agriculture
