Results of measuring of wind speed in Tartu

Our report describes results of measuring wind speed in Tartu 9 m above the roof of the building-faculty of Agricultural Engineering of the Estonian Agricultural University (27 m above the earth surface). Report also describes the measuring equipment and the system of data acquisition. The research resulted in finding the specific energy for the 1 square m swept area of the rotor of wind power unit Nordex N29/250. Measurement results are given for a 5-month period from September 1999 to January 2000
