The globalisation of the general economic environment has an important effect on the market situation in the Hungarian wood industry. Regional integration is nesessary for the successful survival of the of the Hungarian wood industry. One possible solution is forming Clusters (cooperations of regionally concentrated enterprises, organised on a product basis). This article introduces the "Pannon" Wood and Furniture Cluster of the Transdanubian region, and describes its mission, structural organisation and operation methods
