Phosphorus and potassium substitution with coconut water on Chrysanthemum tissue culture

The objective of this experiment was to know the capability of coconut water to substitute the phosphorus and potassium in MS medium on Chrysanthemum tissue culture. The results showed that coconut water 20 percent and 40 percent added on MS medium without P or K can substitute the P or K in MS medium. Fresh weight, dry weight and shoot number of Chrysanthemum cultured on MS medium without K or P added 20 percent and 40 percent coconut water was not difference from MS medium plus P or K
