Isolation of B. thuringiensis isolate from the soil and temperature effect on the formation of spore and its protein crystal

The objectives of this research were to find out the best temperature for the growth of spore and protein crystal of B. thuringiensis and to examine the influence of storage duration on spore formation. The results showed that the best air temperature for the spore and protein crystal to grow was 21 deg. C - 40 deg. C (20 hours). The spore formation at the temperature of 0 deg - 20 deg. C took place 50 hours after inoculation, whereas at the temperature of above 41 deg. C, the formation took place after 34 hours
