Liming and application of manure on acid soils contribute to the improvement of soil ecological conditions for plant growth. Rates of manure had a diverse effect on weed infestation of crops on acid and limed soils. Scleranthus annuus, Spergula arvensis predominated on acid soil, and on limed soil - Chenopodium album. The number of acidophilic weeds decreased under the effect of manure, while the number of nitrophilous weeds increased.
