The Research Centre "Sigra" has elaborated a feed mixture composition from locally produced organic feed-stuffs - wheat, turnip rape, oilseed rape, buckwheat, rape-seed oil, etc. used in feeding turkey broiler cross B.U.T.9. Mixed feed composed of feed components produced under organic farming did not influence turkey broilers productivity but resulted in decreased cholesterol level in blood (by 18 mg %), liver (by 114.14 mg %) and muscle tissues (by 9.37 mg %) and improved meat quality in comparison with conventionally produced feed means. Biological value and organoleptic properties of turkey meat were evaluated. Meat quality index (protein and fat ratio) increased by 11.04, and organoleptic properties (tasted products both, red and white muscles tissue mass, colour, taste, smell) increased by 1.11 marks. Meat fat content has decreased by 0.73% and energetic value by 9.21 kcal/100 g.
