Efficacy of toxi bind dry (Toxin binder) against contaminated broiler feed mycotoxin

The experiment was conducted to study the efficacy of toxi bind dry against contaminated broiler feed mycotoxin. Two hundred day old chicks were reared on the four experimental rations up to 42 days of age. The chicks were randomly distributed into four groups of 50 birds each. Live body weight was record at weekly intervals. Feed offered was recorded on everyday. At the end randomly five birds from each group were slaughtered for carcass weight and weight of internal organs (over, Heart and Gizzard). Results revealed significant difference among weight ;gin of chicks fed on different experimental rations A, B, C and D were 1344 9, 1465.1, 1572 2 and 1836.7 gms, respectively and total feed consumption of chicks were 3339.5, 3527 8, 3601.2 and 3595.8 gms respectively. The total feed conversion Ratio of groups A, B. C and D were 2.49, 2.40,. 2.40, 2.229 and 1.95 respectively and dressed carcass weight of birds fed on rations A, B, C and D was 836.7, 9017, 972.4 and 1037 7 gms respectively. However non-significant difference was observed in the internal organs of birds i.e. heart. Liver and gizzard in all groups. Results indicated that the bird fed on ration 'D' performed significantly. better in their weight gain, feed consumption and per unit weight gain ratio without any side effects in compared to the birds fed on rations A, B, and C.
