The paper discusses the results of three years of investigation into the species composition of Carabidae in winter wheat treated with Aminopielik D. The number of genera and species and their structure of dominance were determining by comparing the weed combination with the control. In the years 1985-86 Carabidae proved be more numerous in the control combination than in the investigated fields. Among the most frequent species Pterostichus cuperus and Agonum dorsale were ones whose dominance was the most marked during the three years of studies (1984-86)
